West Delaware Planning to Start School in Person August 24th

West Delaware is planning to start school in person on site on August 24th. Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey:

Dr. Rickey says there will also be options available for families who do not feel comfortable with on-site learning because of their child’s health concern.

She says West Delaware will be taking steps to improve health and safety at the schools.

And there’s the debate of whether or not students should be required to wear face masks.

Dr. Rickey says the West Delaware School Board spent well over an hour talking about the Return to Learn plan at their meeting Monday night. You can watch the recorded meeting, which has been posted on West Delaware’s Facebook page. The district is hoping to release the final detailed plan for returning to school around August 1st.
