Day number two of the State Softball Tournament in Fort Dodge saw the North Linn Lynx improved their record to 24-0 winning their 30th game in a row dating back to last season. The Lynx ended their 17th game early this season as they defeated Ridge View 10-0 in 5 innings. They advance on to the semifinals for the 2nd season in a row as they face Northeast this late afternoon at 5pm. The Rebels came back to beat Central Springs 5-4 with a walk-off hit in the bottom of the 7th. Benton Community was edged by Dallas Center-Grimes 1-0
Gilbert shutout ADM 4-0
