Delaware County Public Health announced Thursday that four more residents have recovered from COVID-19. Two more positive cases were also announced.
Delaware County currently has sixteen active cases – two remain hospitalized, while fourteen are isolating at home. A total of 82 residents have tested positive since April, with 65 of those residents recovering and one death reported in early June.
Delaware County Public Health also announced Thursday that they will no longer be updating the county’s COVID-19 updates daily – instead, that information will be released three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Public Health says they are dedicated to caring for the community and with the uptick in cases, the workload increases – so to prioritize their staff’s caseload, the information will be released less often. Information will continue to be available online at regmedctr.org/covid-19.
