The Manchester Camp Courageous Garage Sale has been off to a great start.
The garage sale opened a few months later than usual this year because of COVID-19, but Camp Director Charlie Becker says shoppers have been pouring out showing their support since they opened three weeks ago.
And due to the overwhelmingly amount of donations, the Manchester Camp Courageous Garage Sale had to hold off on accepting donated items just a few days after they opened to give the workers a chance to catch up. But the Camp says starting August 4th, they’ll begin accepting donations once again. And they’re hoping to send all their donors thank you notes this year.
And Becker says the volunteers at the Manchester Camp Courageous Garage Sale deserve a lot of thanks too.
The Manchester Camp Courageous Garage Sale opened last year in its new location in the former Norby’s building on East Main Street – they’re open weekdays from 8:30 to 4:30 and Saturdays from 8:30 to noon.
