For the first time in two weeks, no Delaware County residents are hospitalized due to COVID-19.
Delaware County Public Health released their latest case count on Wednesday. They say the number of hospitalizations is down to zero, with the patient who was in the hospital earlier this week now released.
Just a week and a half ago on July 25th, five Delaware County residents were hospitalized due to the virus.
The county currently has twelve active cases, all isolating at home. Four new cases were announced Wednesday, bringing the total number of positive cases since April to 94. Four more residents also recovered from the virus since Monday, bringing the total number of recoveries to 81.
Delaware County Public Health reported one death due to the coronavirus in early June.
Nearly 2,200 Delaware County residents have been tested for COVID-19 so far, with a little over four percent of those testing positive.
