The total number of COVID-19 cases in Delaware County since the pandemic began reached over 100 on Friday.
Delaware County Public Health announced eleven new cases since Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases to 105.
Currently, there are nineteen active cases. One resident is hospitalized and the other eighteen who tested positive are isolating at home.
Four more Delaware County residents have recovered from the virus since Wednesday, bringing the total number of recoveries since the pandemic began to 85.
One death was reported in early June.
The Iowa Department of Public Health says over 2,300 Delaware County residents have been tested, including around 80 on Thursday – giving the county a 4% positivity rate.
