New “If You Build It” Exhibit Opening in Dyersville

A new museum paying tribute to the Field of Dreams opens today in Dyersville.

It’s called the “If You Build It Exhibit” and it highlights the making of the 1989 film and its history.

The museum is located downtown in the former drugstore building at the corner of 1st Avenue East and 2nd Street Southeast.

A ribbon cutting was held Wednesday night for the new museum.

The side of the building also features a newly painted mural of the Ghostplayers coming out of the corn.
