West Delaware has 83 students who will be learning online from home this fall.
Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey says school is still set to begin August 24th, with the majority of students choosing to return to class in person. She says she feels good about the plans that are in place. Rickey says cohorting is one of the steps they’re taking as a precaution.
Rickey says West Delaware will also have enhanced cleaning protocols.
And Rickey says they have a plan in place if someone at the school tests positive for COVID-19.
West Delaware students will not need to wear masks the entire day at school, but there will be times they’ll need to.
West Delaware’s Return to Learn plan has been shared with families and it is posted on the school website. Rickey says if anyone has questions about their plan on returning to school, you can contact her or a principal.
