Monticello Moving to Online Learning

The Monticello School District will go to online learning today and tomorrow.  The district is reporting four positive cases for COVID-19 since Friday afternoon. As a result approximately 140 students in K-12 have been quarantined. Several parents have made administrators aware that their child is showing symptoms and has been tested for COVID-19.

All cross country, volleyball, and football competitions are cancelled for the week. In addition, there will be no practices today and tomorrow. A decision regarding practices for Thursday and Friday will be made later in the week.

Technology Pick-Up for Shannon and Carpenter will be 9-11 this morning. School staff will be available at Shannon and Carpenter Elementary Schools to deliver technology devices, chargers, and other items as assigned by various teachers. There is no need to call ahead, just pull up to the front of the school and staff will help.

If parents/guardians are not able to come during this window of time, they may make other arrangements by contacting the school office secretary.
