The City Attorney for Dyersville has resigned.
Marc Casey has served as Dyersville City Attorney since 1974, with the exception of two brief periods.
Casey submitted his resignation on September 3rd. In a letter to the Dyersville City Council, he says after 46 years as a Dyersville resident, he will be retiring – he and his wife will be relocating to the Kansas City area to be closer to their two children and grandchildren. He says it’s been “an honor and a privilege” to serve as City Attorney all these years.
Casey’s last day with the City of Dyersville will be September 30th.
