There will be a shift in traffic early this week as part of the Manchester Highway 13 Street Improvement Project.
The shift involves moving traffic to the outer sides of North Franklin Street, with construction taking place down the center of the road.
Pirc Tobin is continuing to work on Stage 5 of the project from Fayette to Seeley Street, placing topsoil along the east side of North Franklin and lowering manhole structures and water valves.
Price Electric will also continue to work on installing pedestrian signals at Main & Franklin and N. Franklin & Union Streets.
Looking ahead to next week, pavement milling and asphalt paving will take place throughout the week from Fayette to Seeley Street. During this time, there will be closures at Fayette Street to remove the concrete crosswalks in the street.
