Regional Medical Center is in the process of converting to a new electronic health record system across its hospitals and clinics.
As the new system unfolds, patients may be asked questions to verify information that they have already given to RMC, so it may take more time to register initially.
With this change, patient statements will also begin to be processed in-house at RMC for services received on or after today, September 21st. Services that were received prior to that date will receive statements from their outsource vendor, Clear Healthcare Solutions. So because of that, patients may receive two separate billing statements for some time. If you have any billing questions, you can call 927-7405.
And patients can expect to see an entirely new patient portal, HealtheLife, when the system goes live on Monday – though access to the current patient portal will continue through the end of 2020.
