Hartig Drug has scheduled its first off-site COVID-19 testing site in Dyersville.
The remote testing site will be open Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm in the Beckman Catholic High School parking lot.
Hartig Drug Company’s COVID-19 testing initiative is conducted in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services and a laboratory services organization called eTrueNorth. The testing site has been scheduled in coordination with the Dubuque County Board of Health, the City of Dyersville, Beckman Catholic High School and the Dyersville Area Chamber of Commerce.
The tests are free. Anyone can receive a test by registering online at DoINeedACovid19Test.com. Pre-registration and printed vouchers are required to get a test.
Patients will be directed to stay in their cars and proceed to a designated space in the parking lot. They’ll be provided with a test kit and given instructions. The test will be a self-swap process, observed by a Hartig Drug employee.
The tests will be sent to an independent, third-party lab for processing and the results will be available (on average) within three days.
