Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer has completed her 20 in 20 tour – a visit to all 20 counties in Iowa’s 1st district in 20 days.
The Congresswoman stopped in Delaware County last Saturday (pictured), visiting with the family of former Delaware County Democrats Chair and activist Robin Stone, who passed away a year ago. Finkenauer’s other area visits included helping with a food drive at the Dubuque Area Labor Harvest in Dubuque County, touring the farm of Greg Alber in Buchanan County and visiting the home of her campaign volunteers in Jones County. She also met with Oelwein Superintendent Josh Ehn in Fayette County to discuss school issues, met with Elkader restaurant owners impacted by COVID in Clayton County and closed her tour in Linn County by meeting with a local coffee group to discuss issues facing Iowans.
Finkenauer is wrapping up her first term in the Congress. She faces challenger Ashley Hinson in her bid for re-election on Tuesday.
