Delaware County Pay It Forward is stepping up this year to help local families during the holidays.
The group was created earlier this year with the goal to identify gaps in the community and find a solution for them – especially with all the challenges brought on by COVID. So, when they discovered that there was a gap when it came to Christmas, they knew they needed to help. Manchester Chamber Director Ali Manson:
And that’s how the Christmas Hope Project was born. Missi McIntyre with Delaware County Pay It Forward says it was created to keep the spirit of Christmas alive during these hard times.
If you’d like to donate to the Christmas Hope Project – or adopt a child or family this Christmas – there’s several ways you can do so.
They’re also accepting gift cards to local businesses so the parents can receive some presents as well.
