U.S. Senator Joni Ernst brought her “Fighting for Iowa” RV Tour to Manchester on Saturday morning.
Ernst’s bus made a stop at Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm. She was joined by a line-up of Republicans, including Governor Kim Reynolds, U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley, State Representative and Congressional candidate Ashley Hinson and State Senator Dan Zumbach – who all enthusiastically spoke to the crowd of about fifty people, urging them to get out and vote on Election Day. Ernst told KMCH it was incredible to be surrounded by that kind of support.
Ernst is running for re-election against Democratic challenger Theresa Greenfield. Ernst says if re-elected to the U.S. Senate, she plans to keep fighting.
Meanwhile, Ashley Hinson is hoping to unseat Democrat congresswoman Abby Finkenauer.
Senator Grassley told KMCH the nation may be divided right now, but he believes a Trump victory can help solve that problem.
Ernst’s RV Tour also made stops in Independence and Dubuque on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Iowa Democrats continued the Early Vote Express this week – a statewide bus tour with Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer, Senator Amy Klobuchar, Congresswoman Cindy Axne and Rita Hart that included stops in Waterloo and Dubuque on Saturday, with a virtual press conference ahead of President Trump’s rally in Dubuque on Sunday.
