A tractor and pickup collided south of Greeley on Monday night.
It happened at the intersection of Highway 38 and C-64 around 6 pm. The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says a tractor pulling a chisel plow was heading south on Highway 38 when it was rear-ended by a pickup truck also heading south.
Authorities say the pickup driver, 58-year old Ronald Keppler of Manchester, did not slow down as he approached the tractor, which did have its lights on and amber beacon on the top of the tractor activated.
Keppler was cited for following too close.
Neither Keppler nor the driver of the tractor, 58-year old Danny Goranson of Greeley, were hurt in the crash.
