Beckman FFA Students Earn National Honors with Research Projects

The National FFA Convention was virtual this year, with the Beckman FFA Chapter gathering at the Dyersville Social Center last week to watch the convention and participate in various activities. And several Beckman FFA members received honors in the National Agriscience Fair.

Sophomore Tessa Tauke took first place in the nation for her research project in Power Structure and Technical Systems Division 3.

Tauke says it was an incredible feeling to be named a national champion – for the second time.

Beckman senior Tyler Salrin was named Reserve National Champion for his project in Power Structure and Technical Systems Division 5.

And Beckman junior Jasymn Hoeger placed 3rd in the Animal Science Division 3 category with her research project.

Other Beckman FFA students finishing as national finalists included Lauren Goldsmith and Katherine Grebner, Gabrielle Hoeger, Grace Helle and Lauren Cherne.
