Two Oelwein Adults Arrested for Contributing Illegal Substances to Minor

Fayette County authorities have arrested two people for contributing illegal substances to a minor.

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office says they took a report of a property dispute and damage done to a home in the Oelwein area on Saturday afternoon, October 31st. When deputies arrived at 20121 20th Street, they discovered illegal substances and paraphernalia in plain view, along with a loaded firearm. They seized illegal substances, drug paraphernalia and a 9mm handgun as evidence.

Further investigation showed that multiple adults were contributing to a minor at the home. Authorities tracked down the minor at a home in Hazleton, along with the suspect, 22-year old Alissa Lucas of Oelwein (pictured above). Lucas was arrested and charged with Contributing Illegal Substances to a Minor.

A few days later on November 3rd, authorities made a second arrest, taking 22-year old Olivia Rupright of Oelwein (pictured below) into custody on multiple Fayette County warrants for Contributing Illegal Substances to a Minor, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
