The Christmas Hope program is underway in Delaware County.
Eighteen businesses around the county, including KMCH, have a Christmas Hope Giving Tree with gift tag ornaments that feature gift requests from local kids in need this Christmas. Manchester Chamber Director Ali Manson says they’re helping nearly 100 local families.
That’s Missi McIntyre with Delaware County Pay It Forward, who says thirty-seven families were adopted by other families, groups, businesses and organizations.
All gifts need to be returned to the business you selected it from by next Friday, December 4th. And if you’ve been to the Manchester Fareway in the last couple weeks, you’ve probably seen the donation bag display at the checkout.
And you can still help by making a donation or supporting Delaware County Pay It Forward’s fundraising efforts.
And they’re still in need of volunteers to help wrap gifts, probably starting next week. If you’d like to help, just send them a message on Facebook.
