Non-profits across Delaware County can now begin applying for grants through the Foundation for the Future of Delaware County.
The Foundation offers the grants every year in several areas – health and human services; education; neighborhoods and community development; environment; children, youth and families; and arts and culture, including historic preservation.
Projects and programs with the goal of strengthening families will be the priority in this year’s grantmaking cycle. The Foundation is also welcoming proposals for projects that benefit a broad spectrum of the community or a chronically underserved segment of the population.
501(C)3 non-profits or governmental bodies are eligible to apply. Other non-profits may also qualify, but must partner with a qualified non-profit or governmental body that will serve as a sponsor.
The grant applications are available online at dbqfoundation.org/FFDC. The deadline to apply is January 31st.
