Jones County Courthouse Re-opens to Public

The Jones County Courthouse has re-opened to the public for the first time since the pandemic began last spring.

Most offices were open to the public, but required appointments at times. Deputy Auditor Vicki Starn says as of yesterday, all offices within the courthouse are no longer requiring appointments – with the exception of driver’s license services.

The Jones County Board of Supervisors say they will leave COVID-19 health screening protocols and door security in place at the west entrance of the courthouse.
