Delaware County’s first COVID-19 vaccine clinic has filled up fast.
Regional Family Health announced Tuesday morning that a clinic would be held Wednesday night at the Neighborhood Retreat in Manchester – and just a half hour later, all of the appointments for the four-hour clinic had already been filled.
The clinic was open to anyone ages 65 and older on a first-come first-served basis, with that age group able to call a hotline number to get signed up. Now that the clinic is filled, there is a voicemail on that hotline indicating as such. They are not taking a waiting list.
Health officials say they expected this first vaccine clinic to fill very fast as there is a very small amount of vaccine available. However, there will be more vaccine clinics to come.
