HS BASKETBALL: Regional and Districts Pairings announced/Friday night preview

KMCH Sports Director Jon Swisher has High School Basketball postseason pairings that have been released by the Iowa Girls Athletic Union and the Boys Association in the past couple of days:

If the weather conditions improve, the last regular season Friday night full slate of games will take place and we would have 3 featured contests from KMCH Sports tonight:

The West Delaware Boys will be honoring their 8 seniors as they host WaMaC West Division opponent South Tama in a triple header inside Seedorff Gymnasium starting with the Freshmen at 4:30. The varsity game at about 7:30 can be watched on the KMCH Sports Live Video Stream at kmch.com, Bill Logan and WD A.D. Matt Weis will have the call.

The Hawk girls will travel to Tama to face the Lady Trojans with one varsity game tipping off at 6:00.

A coverage area girl/boy doubleheader will occur in Delhi as Maquoketa Valley hosts Springville beginning around 6:15. Sports Director Jon Swisher and Roger Wright will have the action live on Mix 94.7.

Also in the Tri-Rivers Conference, East Buchanan heads to Alburnett, North Linn is at Central City and Ed-Co welcomes in Starmont.

Elsewhere, the Beckman girls are at Mount Vernon while the Blazer boys will host the Mustangs. Independence girls will be home to Williamsburg, Mustang boys will be on the road.

The Western Dubuque girls and boys will entertain Dubuque Hempstead in Epworth.

In RVC doubleheader’s, Anamosa is home to Camanche and Monticello has Cascade at home.
