Delaware County saw a decrease in its COVID-19 positivity rate and its number of active cases this past week.
Delaware County Public Health announced on Monday that Delaware County has 166 active cases (nine less than last Monday) and a positivity rate of 7.9% (down 1.9% from a week earlier).
Two people are currently hospitalized and the county has reported no deaths due to the virus this past week, with the death total still at 37.
Delaware County has had over 1,800 confirmed cases of COVID-19 since the pandemic began. Over 1,600 residents have recovered.
Nearly 2,000 Delaware County residents have been vaccinated, with 570 of those residents completing their two-dose series of shots.
