After a big year of street projects in Manchester, the City is taking a bit of a break this year.
Last year was a huge undertaking between the Highway 13 project through the heart of town and the closure of East Main Street at the far east city limits. So the City is planning just some smaller projects for this summer.
City Manager Tim Vick says they’ve identified five streets for some asphalt mill and overlay work.
The other two projects include Elm street from North 4th Street to North 3rd Street and North 4th Street from West Acers Street to Seely Street. Vicks says they’ll pick back up with major street projects next year.
Those five smaller street projects this summer are expected to cost the City a total of about $245,000.
