West Delaware Moving Forward with Building Improvement Projects

West Delaware Superintendent Dr. Kristen Rickey wants to say thank you to voters for approving last week’s bond referendum.

The $20 million bond referendum passed with 67% of the vote, giving the board authority to move ahead with improvements to the high school, middle school and Lambert elementary buildings.

Rickey says they’re already taking steps to get those projects started.

The approved bond referendum means the average homeowner in the West Delaware School District will pay just under five dollars a month more on their property taxes.
