There was no Easter Egg Hunt at the Penn Center last year due to COVID – but they’re making some changes to still allow some families to participate this year.
Susan Hermann with the Nifty Needlers 4-H Club, which hosts the event, says they’ll be able to accommodate twenty families with the actual hunt on the Penn Center grounds near Delhi on Saturday, April 3rd. Each family will be assigned physical space outdoors and a time slot between 10 am and noon. 4-Hers and helpers will escort families from their cars to their assigned spot in half-hour increments. And crafts will be provided to take home.
Hermann says they’ll also be holding a drive-through egg hunt, with your eggs and crafts pre-packaged and handed to you. They do ask that the eggs be returned to the Penn Center.
Anyone interested in participating in either the grounds event or the drive-through event is asked to text 563-920-5337 – please provide the adult’s last name, the number of children and their ages, and the specific interests of the children.
