The Manchester Aquatic Center is set to open for the summer on Memorial Day weekend.
City Parks and Rec Director Doug Foley says after a year of COVID, they’re ready to start getting things back to normal.
Swim lessons is a big program for the City – and Foley wants to make sure you have a heads up on what the process will look like this year.
Foley says the one good thing that came out of COVID is that there were a lot of private swim lessons available. This year, that may not be the case.
Several other communities are also making plans to open their pools for the summer, including Dyersville, which closed their pool last year for the entire season due to the pandemic.
