The Maquoketa Valley Drama Department is presenting “Godspell”. Cast member Andrew Kloser, who plays the role of “Jesus” in this year’s production, says this musical appeals to a wide audience.
Fellow cast member Paige Panosh, who plays one of the disciples, says two dozen students are involved in this year’s musical.
Panosh and Kloser are among those five seniors who have great memories of their time on the Maquoketa Valley stage.
There are two ways you can enjoy Maquoketa Valley’s musical “Godspell”. You can join them for one of their live performances in-person this Friday or Saturday at 7 pm or Sunday at 2 pm. Tickets are five dollars and can be purchased through the high school office. Or you can watch a virtual stream of “Godspell” from the comfort of your home – that option will be available next Wednesday, May 12th and Saturday, May 15th, both times at 7 pm. Tickets for the virtual performances are $8 and can be ordered online at showtix4u.com.
