The West Delaware Hawks ended a five game losing streak to Beckman and beat the Blazers for the first time since June 11th of 2018 and June 30th of 2015 at home. The Hawks won game 1, 6-3. The Blazers took the 2nd contest 5-3 in 10 innings, that game last 2 hours and 51 minutes.
Independence swept Clear Creek-Amana 12-10 and 9-2
Anamosa lost to Tipton 4-1
East Buchanan took 2 from Central City, 15-4 and 14-3
North Linn got past Easton Valley 6-2
Ed-Co fell twice to Alburnett, 19-0 and 17-2 both in 4 innings
Midland outlasted Starmont 21-15
At Sill field, the WD Hawks claimed the sweep winning the first game 10-0 in 5 innings and the nightcap 13-6 on their pinkout cancer awareness night. Class 4A 10th-ranked WD returns to action tonight when they travel to face Class 3A #2 Williamsburg.

Western Dubuque swept Cedar Rapids Xavier 6-5 and 8-5
