Vacation Bible School is coming up next week in Manchester – and this year, it’s community-wide.
Rev. Tony Ede from First Lutheran Church says rather than each church hosting its own bible school, several local churches are coming together to host just one event this year.
Vacation Bible School will be taking place next week Monday through Friday from 9 to 11 am at the Lambert Elementary School Commons – and Rev. Dave Grandon from Christ Community Church says kids from preschool through 5th grade invited to attend.
And kids can come early at 8:30 am for a free breakfast – and they’ll get a free sack lunch to take home with them too. Vacation Bible School is free and you don’t have to attend each day or all hours next week. And Rev. Ede says kids of all religious backgrounds are welcome.
They’re encouraging everyone to pre-register online – just go to the Manchester Community-Wide VBS group page on Facebook and click “sign up” to complete the online form. They’ll also accept kids on the spot who come and haven’t pre-registered.
