A Manchester man has been arrested on meth charges.
38-year old Jeremiah Thomas was taken into custody on Tuesday, June 1st along 18th Avenue Southwest in Dyersville.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says a search of Thomas’s vehicle revealed a broken methamphetamine pipe, as well as a methamphetamine pipe with a burnt residue and two cut straws. The items later tested positive for meth.
The Sheriff’s Office says Thomas showed signs of impairment, admitting to the deputy he smoked meth a few hours earlier.
He was also carrying a firearm.
Thomas was arrested and charged with OWI-1st Offense, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Carrying Weapon While Intoxicated.
