Shirley Louise Seibert, 87, of Edgewood, Iowa, formerly of Greeley, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home in Edgewood. She was born on October 30, 1933, in Manchester, the daughter of Orlando and Doris (Puffett) Flaucher. Shirley was raised and educated in the Dundee area and was a graduate of Dundee High School.
On May 21, 1953, Shirley was united in marriage to Leon “Red” Seibert at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Two children were born to this union. Shirley worked at the egg plant in Manchester where one of her jobs was to candle eggs. She cleaned houses, worked part time at the Greeley post office, and worked at the Manchester Dairy Queen.
Shirley was a longtime member of the Greeley Methodist Church. She enjoyed listening to country music and was also an avid fan of University of Iowa Basketball. Shirley loved her family and enjoyed visiting with them and her friends.
Survivors include her two children, Steve (Nancy Hatfield) Seibert of Manchester and Cindy (Brad) Chambers of Strawberry Point; two grandchildren, Ryan Chambers and Derek (Tabitha) Chambers; a granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Seibert of Independence; seven great-grandchildren; and one sister, Audrey (Larry) Lincoln of Strawberry Point.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and a grandson, Seth Seibert in 2017.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester, with Pastor Mike Jackson officiating.
Visitation: 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., on Monday, July 12, 2021, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Tuesday.
Interment: Grant View Cemetery – Greeley, Iowa
