Delaware County Fair Welcoming ZZ Top for Rock Night

On Friday night, it’s rock night at the Delaware County Fair as rock legends ZZ Top take the stage in their first show back since the pandemic began. Delaware County Fair Manager Jeannie Domeyer says they’re looking forward to a great night with the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers.

Track tickets for ZZ Top are now sold out – but as always, grandstand bleacher seating is free with your paid fair admission.

And prior to Friday’s concert, new fair royalty will be announced. It will be the first crowning in two years since the fair was cancelled last year due to the pandemic. Shelby March has served as the Delaware County Fair Queen since 2019.

Delaware County Fair Princess Macy Loecke:

Delaware County Fair King Grant Schnieders:

This year’s royalty candidates are Ellie Recker, Lexie Rieken, Krista Ries, Leah Ries, Gracie Weeks and Andrew Salas.

And following the royalty crowning and ZZ Top concert on Friday night, there are more events coming up this weekend.

The Delaware County Fair runs through Sunday. For more information about the fair, go online to delawarecofair.com.
