The National Weather Service has rated the two tornadoes that touched down in the Manchester area last night as EF1.
Their Quad Cities office says some preliminary information is starting to come in from the survey team in the field.
The National Weather Service says they were two brief and narrow EF1 tornadoes. One was just southwest of town and the other hit the southwest corner in town, with the latter one causing significant damage to farm outbuildings and a large show barn.
There were no injuries with either tornado. The survey team plans to survey more areas throughout the day.
More details information is expected to be released later this afternoon and tonight.
