Delaware County Public Health is recommending all residents now wear a face mask in public indoor settings.

Delaware County is among six local counties experiencing high transmission levels of COVID-19. As of Thursday, the area counties at a high transmission level are Delaware, Buchanan, Clayton, Fayette, Jones and Linn.

According to the CDC, in areas where data indicates the county is at substantial or high transmission levels of COVID-19, all people are recommended to wear a face mask in public indoor settings – regardless of vaccination status.
