Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze Opening for Season

Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze will be opening this Saturday.

Dean and Jackie Sherman own and operate the business, which is located on their property at 413 South Wayne Street in Manchester. For the past forty years, families have been coming to the Pumpkin Farm for some fall fun – and this year, Dean says they’ve got a firefighter theme.

Sherman’s Pumpkin Farm and Corn Maze was supposed to open last weekend, but due to last week’s storm and damage to the corn, they had to push back the opening date. The corn maze costs five dollars per person, with kids 4 and under free.

Dean says they’ll start picking pumpkins as they head into the weekend too. Last year, they implemented a new way to check out the pumpkins you wanted to buy – and they’ll be keeping that method again this fall.

The Shermans say they’ve been getting a lot of questions about whether Trunk Trick-or-Treat will be held this year to celebrate Halloween, but unfortunately, they’ll be cancelling the event again this year due to COVID. They’re hoping to bring it back next year when it’s safer to do so. Dean says they just want their pumpkin farm and corn maze to be a place where families can enjoy the fall season
