Zero Zone Announces Plans to Expand Operations to Dyersville

A new company has announced plans to expand its operations to Dyersville.

Zero Zone will move into an existing spec building in the Highway 20 West Industrial Park. The company is expected to create 50 jobs in the community.

Zero Zone is headquartered in North Prairie, Wisconsin. The company manufactures commercial refrigeration systems and display cases for supermarkets, grocery, convenience, dollar and drug stores, as well as industrial systems for cold storage, food processing, pharmaceutical/biomedical manufacturing and ice arenas.

Zero Zone is now 60 years old with over 500 employees strong.

Rick Steer, Vice President and General Manager of the Zero Zone Systems Division, says due to significant growth in their business, they’ve chosen to expand their manufacturing operations to the Greater Dubuque area because of its geographical position, quality workforce and programming to assist employers in recruiting that workforce. Steer adds that they’re hopeful the Iowa Economic Development Authority will grant the necessary incentives to allow that to happen.
