Regional Medical Center is hosting their “Moving for Life” event in Manchester this Saturday.
RMC Marketing Specialist Angie Wilson says this is a fun event to promote health and fitness with a 5K, 10K, Open Mile and Kiddi-K Fun Run.
All proceeds from the event will go right back to Regional Medical Center.
You can register online at regmedctr.org/movingforlife or you can sign up before the event begins, starting at 7 am at the Beckman Sports Complex.
And a local poet will be one of the runners participating in Saturday’s “Moving for Life” event. Tyler Sullivan of Iowa City started a quest back in 2015 to visit all 99 counties in Iowa – and in 2018, he was challenged to set foot and run at least one mile in every Iowa town. He’ll make his quest through Manchester during Saturday’s run.
