Revenue Purpose Statement Vote to Appear on Maquoketa Valley Ballot

Voters in the Maquoketa Valley School District can expect to see a question on their November ballot this year.

Superintendent Dave Hoeger says in addition to voting for school board members, they’ll also be asked to approve the Revenue Purpose Statement.

Hoeger says a yes or no vote won’t have any impact on what residents in the Maquoketa Valley School District pay for taxes.

More information about the ballot question will be posted on Maquoketa Valley’s website and the school district will be mailing information to voters as well.
