Delaware County Public Health to Begin Offering COVID-19 Vaccine Booster Shots

Delaware County Public Health will begin offering COVID-19 vaccine booster shots to those who received the two-dose Pfizer vaccine – but only if you meet certain requirements.

Public Health Coordinator Krystle DeShaw explains:

And keep in mind the booster must come at least six months after the primary two-dose series. The COVID-19 booster shot is not yet available for those who received the Moderna or J&J vaccine.

The booster shots will be available during Delaware County Public Health’s walk-in COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics every Wednesday from 1 to 4 pm now through the end of October.

As of last week, 55% of Delaware County residents were vaccinated. If you have not gotten the vaccine yet, DeShaw encourages you to do so.

You can reach Delaware County Public Health at 927-7551.
