The Manchester City Council met Monday night.
City Manager Tim Vick says the Council discussed the Flood Insurance Rate Map, which will go into effect next spring.
The Council also discussed funding for maintenance work on the West Marion Street Bridge.
And the Council also approved a new sidewalk policy for Manchester, with new sidewalks from now on measuring five feet wide – in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The Manchester City Council also approved an address change for Dennis and Kathy Meisgeier for their property on Bailey Drive.
And paving should begin shortly at the new pickleball and tennis courts at Tirrill Park. A pre-construction meeting was held Tuesday morning – Vick says they’re hoping to have fencing up within the next three weeks.
