Charles Junior “Charlie” Fisher, 74, of Delaware, Iowa, died on Monday, December 29, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. He was born on February 15, 1940, in Iowa City, the son of Charles R. and Florence (Schrader) Fisher. Charlie was raised in rural Manchester. He attended Copperhead School and Manchester High School.
On December 7, 1958, Charlie was married to Sherrie Simons. Seven children were born to this union. For many years Charlie drove semi-trucks for J.B. Hunt Transport and recently worked for Kehrli Farms.
Charlie was a resident of Delaware for the past 38 years. He enjoyed music, working on family projects, and woodworking. Charlie enjoyed studying the Bible and loved his family.
He is survived by his seven children, Cindy (Tim) Thies of Hiawatha, Steve (Barb) Fisher of Cedar Rapids, Curt Fisher of Delaware, Ed (Karen) Fisher of Springville, Tracey Heitz of Manchester, Brenda (Jose) Zelaya of Phoenix, Arizona, Brett (Robin) Fisher of East Dubuque; 24 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Olga) of Center Point; and a sister, Helen Tielebein of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary Kampman; and a brother, Roy Baker.

Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Cornerstone Community Church, Manchester, Iowa.
Officiating: Pastor Tim Agrimson
Visitation: 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., on Friday, January 2, 2015, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home, Manchester, Iowa, and at the church one hour before services.
Interment: Portable Cemetery – Manchester, Iowa
