Anamosa Library & Learning Center Community Baby Shower

The Anamosa Library & Learning Center is holding its second annual community baby shower Tuesday, September 29th from 5 to 6:30 p.m.

This event will provide expecting parents, new parents or parents of children aged newborn to five years old with resources to help make those first few years a success.

Door prizes, swag bags and snacks will be provided, and Young Parents Network will facilitate a storytime and craft for young children.

Organizations represented at the event include Young Parents Network, which provides parent support; Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which supports literacy and provides free books; Early Childhood Iowa, which offers services that help connect families to resources and provides necessary items for new families; and more.

The library is accepting donations for the community baby shower, and a list of requested items can be found on its website: anamosalibrary.org/news_detail_T30_R83.php.

The event is free and open to the public.
