Mondays in March – Flowering Shrubs & Trees

Iowa State University Extension and Outreach Delaware County Master Gardeners will host their popular Mondays in March Gardening Series throughout March, offering a variety of educational programs for gardeners, plant enthusiasts, and community members of all experience levels. Each session will feature knowledgeable speakers covering timely gardening topics ranging from prairie plants to fall crops, trees, and wellness-focused plant use.

Mondays in March will be held Monday evenings at 7 p.m. at Our Savior Lutheran Church at 116 Guetzko Court in Manchester. This is the final one for 2026!

March 30 – Flowering Shrubs & Trees
Eileen Schmidt, Cedar River Garden Center
Schmidt will highlight flowering shrubs and trees well-suited for Iowa landscapes. The session will cover plant selection, placement, maintenance, and how to add long-term beauty and structure to home gardens.

A $3 suggested donation will be collected at the door to support local Master Gardener programming.
