RSVPs Due for Mission Sew Day
August 8
Mission Sew Day is Saturday, August 22nd from 9 am to 3 pm at St. Mark’s Parish Center in Edgewood. They’ll be sewing purses for Sew Powerful and dresses for Dress A Girl Around the World. Come anytime during the day to sew, cut fabric or write encouragement cards. Purse and dress kits will be provided. You will need to bring your sewing machine, basic sewing supplies including a hem gauge/ruler and a seam ripper! Pastries and lunch will be provided by Franny’s Eats with Thrivent funds. RSVP needed by Saturday, August 8th to Patty Clark (563-929-3434), Julie Schechtman (563-920-2985) per the facebook event page or Chris Harwood (319-560-6418). Freewill donation will be split between the two mission projects.
