Seeking Volunteers to Harvest Squash Near Masonville

The Lindsay family, along with Tracy Blackmer of “Gardening for Good”, are seeking volunteers to harvest two acres of squash on Saturday, September 23rd. As in years past, all the squash has been grown for donation to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank in Waterloo.

All ages welcome, no experience necessary. Buckets, tools, sunscreen, water and cookies will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to be at the plot at 9 am. The squash field is located just east of the address 3389 208th Street Masonville. (Come from Highway 187 – the Lamont exit on Highway 20).
