West Delaware High School Activities Director Mike Morrison and the WD Athletics Department is proud to host the Iowa State University Volleyball team. The Cyclones will face the University of Wisconsin in a Division 1 scrimmage open to the public this Friday night inside Seedorff Gymnasium starting at 7pm. This is the final week for Spring Volleyball for both Universities. The Iowa State volleyball team impressed fans at their Spring Tournament last Saturday inside Hilton Coliseum in Ames. The Cyclones won seven of eight sets played, sweeping Omaha and North Dakota, 3-0, before splitting a pair of sets against UNI. This Saturday, Iowa State will be in Minnesota to take on the Golden Gophers at the Sports Pavilion in Minneapolis at 2:30pm for their final match of the spring. Friday’s scrimmage will be a best of 5 set match with at least 4 games played. Because of NCAA guidelines no admission will be charged and no concessions can be provided but players will be available for autographs after the scrimmage.
