Dyersville Assisted Living Facility Deficiency-Free Since 2002

ellen kennedy living centerThe assisted living program at the Ellen Kennedy Living Center in Dyersville is meeting high standards. The center recently passed with flying colors after receiving on-site visits from several agencies, including the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals, the Iowa Department of Human Services/Iowa Medicaid Enterprise and Department of Public Safety/State Fire Marshal. The Ellen Kennedy Living Center has been deficiency-free since it opened in September 2002. The center’s director, Kari Wittmeyer, says that level of compliance is incredibly rare and she gives credit to the center’s staff for their commitment to providing quality care. The Ellen Kennedy Living Center also received a nutrition department deficiency-free inspection by the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals. In addition to the 32 assisted living apartments at the Ellen Kennedy Living Center, there are also 26 independent living apartments for people 55 and older.
